Listen
intently, O My beloved, to the way unto life Abba has revealed in Me;
His teaching and instruction; incline Your ears to the words He has
spoken from My mouth;
I open My mouth in parables; to utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world;
Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us, but their meaning had yet been revealed;
But now are revealed unto you, My beloved, showing to the generations
to come the goodness, strength and wonderful works that Abba has done
in Me;
For He has established a testimony in Me; and appointed Me; the author
and finisher of the way unto life and immortality; and lest they
forget, He told them to teach and declare these things to their sons
and their daughters and their children’s children;
That in the generations to come all might know Him; even that the
children which should be born would declare these things to their
children;
So that their hope would be in God and His grace and not their own
strength; but that they would not forget the works that Abba has done
in Me;
And might not be as their fathers were, a stubborn and rebellious
generation; who’s hearts were not set on the works of God and His grace
to give them blessing and life as a gift but on their own works;
Who like the children of Ephraim being armed in their own strength, and carrying bows turned back in fear in the day of battle;
They are like those who believe not the promise of God and His strength
to give them the promise of eternal life as a gift; refusing to rest
and walk in the good work He declared in Me; His teaching and
instruction unto life;
And forgot His works and the signs and wonders that He has shown unto them;
Marvelous things has Abba done in Me, freeing all from the bondage of
sin and death; like He has done in the sight of their fathers, in
leading them out of the bondage in Egypt;
When He divided the sea and caused them to pass through safely; and He made the waters to stand as a heap;
In the daytime also He led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire;
He split the rocks in the wilderness, and gave them water like a gushing spring;
He brought streams out of the rock, and caused waters to flow down like
rivers; and all these things did He to persuade them to place their
trust and confidence in Him to give them blessing and life as a gift
and not in the works of their hands; pointing to the life and
inheritance He has given them in Me;
And yet they still believed not; rebelling against the Most High; the only way unto the promise land which is eternal life;
And in the hardness of their heart’s they questioned God’s integrity to
provide them all things for life and Godlikeness; by asking for the
food that perishes to fill the lack that death spoke to their hearts;
They staggered at His promise through unbelief and spoke against Him saying: Is God able to feed us in the wilderness?
We know He gave us water from a rock but can He also give us bread and meat?
Therefore, Abba heard this and was grieved in His heart; and a fire was
kindled against the corrupt logic of lack and death that was coming
against His beloved; and His anger was set against it, to bring it to
an end;
And because they did not believe that Abba is the One who cares for
their lives, they could not go to rest in Him to protect and preserve
their lives unto eternal life;
And just as He promised them, so also has He opened the windows of heaven unto all people in Me;
When He rained down the bread from heaven for them to eat; It was
speaking of Me, His strength; the true bread from heaven giving life to
the world;
Man did eat Abba’s food; when they saw He raised up My immortal flesh
in the resurrection, the meat that does not perish; that they might be
full and satisfied and enter into Abba’s rest;
In the wilderness He caused the east wind to blow in the heaven and by
His power He brought in the south wind, bringing quail for them to eat;
He rained flesh upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like as the sand of the sea:
And He let it fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations.
They did eat, and were well filled; but while they were still yet
eating, they were filled with the lust of their own hearts; for He gave
them over to their own lust;
So that those who ate desiring to find their food for life in the meat
that perishes were not estranged from that corrupt wisdom, which is
their lust for life through their own strength;
Therefore, the wrath and the judgment of God against that corrupt
wisdom that serves men with death manifested in them and has smitten
them down, though God had chosen them for life;
For in all these things, they would not repent from their unbelief; and believed not in His wondrous works;
Therefore, their hearts were consumed daily with a striving for life in
their own strength with no benefit; and their years filled with labor
and annoyances.
When they saw that those who didn’t trust in God were smitten by death, they returned and inquired after Him;
And they remembered that God was their salvation and the Most High God, their redeemer;
Nevertheless, they did flatter Him with their lips, but their hearts
were filled with the serpent’s lies that came out of their mouths;
For their hearts were not resting in Him, neither were they believing
in His promise to give them blessing and life by the strength of His
hand and not their own;
But Abba, being full of everlasting love and compassion has covered
their iniquity that it not destroy them; and has at various times hid
His face from their union to the death that animated them;
For He knew that they were but flesh; a wind that passes away and that would perish apart from Him;
How often did they stir up His wrath toward that which could destroy them; and grieved His heart in the desert;
Yet, again and again, did they question the integrity of Abba and Me; the Holy One of Israel.
They remembered not His hand, nor the day when He delivered them from
the enemy, to know that the hand that led them out of bondage and
deliverance from death is found in Me; and not their own hands;
How He worked signs and wonders in Egypt, and His wonders in the field
of Naphtali declaring His judgment of the way unto life and against the
way leads to death;
When He turned rivers into blood; and water that it could no longer be drank; or bring forth any nourishment for life;
He gave them over to the swarm of flies that were among them, which
devoured; and frogs, which destroyed; revealing how trusting in the
works of their own hands only serves with death;
And all the works of their hands were eaten up by worms; and their labor destroyed by the locust;
The fruit of their vines were destroyed with hail, and their sycamore trees were cut down;
And their cattle also by hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts;
Abba has set the fierceness of His anger, wrath, and indignation, and
trouble; against the enemy and all that seeks to harm His beloved with
death, and in giving them over to the imaginations of their own hearts;
to see the fruit of death that it serves them with;
He made a way for His wrath to destroy death and work righteousness;
and spared them not all the pains and the fruit of death, giving them
over to their own way, where His judgment against the works of man’s
hands bought pestilence and the death upon them;
By which works all the firstborn in Egypt were smitten; from the chief
of their strength to all the dwellings of Egypt; who trusted not in God
and His strength but rather in their own;
But Abba has made a way for all His beloved in Me; leading them out of
the bondage of death like a shepherd leading His sheep and guided them
in the wilderness like a flock; to the way unto life and immortality;
And so, has He led them safely that they feared not but has consumed their enemy in the sea;
And He brought them to the border of the mount; having victoriously redeemed them; in Me, His right hand;
Having cast out the enemy from before their eyes and given them an
inheritance; in Me; to live a life free from labor and toil; in tents
that they did not pitch;
Yet they still questioned the integrity of the Most High God and kept not His testimony which is written of Me for them;
But like their fathers, turned their back on His teaching and instruction unto life; turning instead to lies and deceit;
And they kindled His anger by exalting the works of their hands and to
jealousy by looking to other gods who are not gods and who could never
serve them with His life;
Hearing this was Abba wroth and greatly disturbed; abhorring the sin in
Israel that was coming against His beloved; and that sought to destroy
them;
So, in His everlasting kindness did He let them loose; giving them over
to their lust to serve other gods and the works of their hands; and He
hid His face from their union to death, that their corrupt wisdom was
serving them with;
And they exchanged His strength for bondage; and His glory for corruptible images made with hands;
He gave them over to the sword; and to the judgment that living by it was serving them with;
Their strength was consumed by fire; and their lives were left to barrenness;
Their priests fell by the sword; and their widows wept not for them but for their own death;
Then in the fullness of time, as one awakened out of sleep; Abba has spoken in Me; and like a mighty man and with a loud cry;
Abba has smitten the enemy; crushing the serpents head; putting to open shame the corrupt wisdom that brought death;
Moreover, He has rejected the serpent’s lies; the works of man’s hands
as a way unto life and established that His life cannot be found in
tabernacles made with man’s hands;
But Abba has chosen Me, His law on mount Zion, the teaching and
instruction unto life whereby He has loved us with an everlasting love;
And in Me: has He established His dwelling place at His right hand; the
sure hope of His inheritance for His beloved and all the earth forever;
Just as He chose David His servant, and took him from the sheepfolds:
From tending the sheep of his youth and He brought him to feed His people, and Israel his inheritance;
So also has He chosen Me to shepherd and feed all people; serving them
with the Word of Eternal life, their inheritance in Me; who is the
integrity and the innocence of Abba’s heart; and has guided them in all
truth by pouring out His Spirit through Me; the strength of Abba’s hand. |
