Revealing Abba in Psalm 12
| Help Me Abba to declare Your
heart and testimony among the children of men, for they are perishing,
not hearing Your heart for them; They speak falsely to their neighbor in their vain attempt to give themselves life, not because they care about their neighbor, but they want to bring them under the same burdens; Your truth Abba destroys the lie that told a man he can have life apart from You, and shuts the mouth of the one who boasts in his own ability to obtain to life; They trust in their own words and their own way to prevail. They say in their self-sufficiency that they don’t need anyone else; But for all that are oppressed by the death in the world and see their inability to give themselves life; and for the cry of those longing for the life that cannot be hurt or injured by death, Abba has heard and answered with His incorruptible life by raising Me up from the dead in immortal flesh and bone; setting them at liberty from the reign and fear of death; the thing that put them in bondage to a life of labor and toil, and has given them the sure hope of the same incorruptible life they see in Me free from their works; The Word that Abba has revealed in Me is full of grace and truth, light and life: Free of any mixture, perfectly purified like silver free from the dross; tried by fire in the earth; O Abba Your Word and Your testimony gives Your beloved the certainty of Your life; that keeps them pure and preserves them from the corruption that is in the world through lust forever; For the hardships of this world will most certainly surround on every side and overtake those who exalt and walk by its corrupt wisdom; not seeing Your heart to serve them with the same life revealed in Me Abba. |
